RACS presents one of the most logistically challenging events anywhere in the world

With up to 2,300 delegates and 1,000 separate Powerpoint presentations in as many as 20 concurrent sessions over five days, the annual Scientific Congress of the RACS presents one of the most logistically challenging events anywhere in the world.

From Adelaide in 2002 through to Perth in 2010, Kojo has been charged with making this complex event a success. To handle the sheer volume of computer presentations Kojo commissioned Kojo Interactive to develop a software system where all presentations can be centrally co-ordinated, previewed, edited and sent to session rooms via a temporary, secure, high-speed network. This network is built in each location specifically for the congress.

Each year Kojo also creates a ‘virtual congress’ website where delegates can download schedules, congress updates, abstracts, pdf versions of Powerpoint presentations, and webcasts of sessions.
