KOJO is looking for an experienced and passionate Broadcast Engineer to join our growing Optus Stadium team.
Working closely with our National Technical Director and Perth based production team, the Broadcast Engineer will play a vital role in delivering a memorable match day experience utilising advanced industry leading technology.
The Broadcast Engineer will provide input on technical design and implementation within the production suite, as well as day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of the installed infrastructure. As support for the operational departments, you will help maintain our video servers, asset management, and production equipment along with a host of other broadcast infrastructure.
Preparing the various Production System for events, as well as performing the lead technical role on event days, will also be a vital part of the role.
This position is well suited for someone with excellent fault finding skills, a good knowledge of ICT principles and networking, and an interest in keeping up with the latest advancements in broadcast and in-stadia technology.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Design, install and test new equipment / services;
- Perform scheduled maintenance and upgrades;
- Liaison with customers, suppliers, operators and management;
- Prompt trouble-shooting of broadcast systems and infrastructure.
- Rig and test systems for game day.
