Content Coordinator

KOJO is looking for a curious and fearless Content Coordinator to join our growing Optus Stadium team. Working closely with our Producers and the broader KOJO team to deliver high quality content, champion fan engagement and promote a consistently fresh creative offering, you are a team player who is always up for a new challenge.

The Content Coordinator is responsible for managing, programming and playback of content across the stadium’s screen display systems on game days, for conferences and events. The Content Coordinator will liaise with the stadium, clubs and hirers as well as KOJO’s Sport & Stadium teams to ensure all content being displayed is received on time, is technically correct and played out in accordance with the client’s requirements.

Working with the Technical Lead and Producer, they will demonstrate a knowledge of LED displays and broadcast video equipment. They will have proven experience in video production as well as graphic and motion design. The ability to multitask and attention to fine detail are crucial, as is a love of sport and entertainment.

Training for all required systems used in the role, will be provided to the successful candidate.

Position

Producer

KOJO is looking for an experienced and passionate Game Day Producer to join our Adelaide Oval team.

Working closely with our Senior Producer and the broader KOJO team to deliver high quality live sport and entertainment experiences, including on ground activations and talent management. You will need to be a versatile communicator and an independent thinker who is also able to collaborate with other teams across our business. You multitask like a pro, managing competing priorities with efficiency and a smile.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and public holidays is important.

Key considerations

  • 4+ years experience in a broadcast, sport or event producer role
  • You manage approved budgets and timelines with accuracy and efficiency
  • You embrace systems and processes as you know they work
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
  • Proactively offer and communicate new ideas to the KOJO Sport team
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and “go the extra mile” under tight deadlines
  • Ability to apply problem-solving skills to live production challenges
  • Careful attention to details and technical requirements on production deliverables
  • Ability to work additional hours with little advance notice, if required
  • Knowledge of and/or interest in, sports including AFL, Cricket and Soccer
  • Computer proficiency including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive spreadsheets, documents and other cloud based platforms

Position

Technical Lead

KOJO is looking for an experienced and passionate Broadcast Engineer to join our growing Optus Stadium team.

Working closely with our National Technical Director and Perth based production team, the Technical Lead will play a vital role in delivering a memorable match day experience utilising advanced industry leading technology.

The Technical Lead will provide input on technical design and implementation within the production suite, as well as day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of the installed infrastructure. As support for the operational departments, you will help maintain our video servers, asset management, and production equipment along with a host of other broadcast infrastructure.

Preparing the various Production System for events, as well as performing the lead technical role on event days, will also be a vital part of the role.

This position is well suited for someone with excellent fault finding skills, a good knowledge of ICT principles and networking, and an interest in keeping up with the latest advancements in broadcast and in-stadia technology.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Design, install and test new equipment / services;
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and upgrades;
  • Liaison with customers, suppliers, operators and management;
  • Prompt trouble-shooting of broadcast systems and infrastructure.
  • Rig and test systems for game day.

Developer

KOJO are currently looking for a passionate and creative Developer to join their team. If you get a kick out of learning new technologies and finding new ways to utilise what you already know, you’re the kind of person we want to meet.

A background coding HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a must, with exposure to PHP and some hands on experience customising WordPress an added bonus. If you’re a technical problem solver who plays well with others, this is a great opportunity for you to be part of an inspiring team that doesn’t settle for simply getting a job done.

But it’s not all about what you can do for us – at KOJO we are always looking for ways to help encourage our developers to grow and learn. We provide our staff with access to online training resources and opportunities to attend industry conferences and events, and encourage the opportunity to play with new gadgets and tech whenever possible.

  • Mobile development (Native, React Native, PhoneGap or other)
  • At least 5 years experience or equivalent exposure
